Surrey Sound: Leoscappin Set To Release Alienated EP.

The likes of Young Adz, M Huncho, Wewantwraiths and many more have perfected the sound of melodic rap in the current UK scene. Sometimes the centralised world of music can force us to be ignorant of new waves and talent around us.

This leads to a young rising star by the name Leoscappin. Despite having Japanese heritage and growing up in Brazil, it is clear the young artist living in Surrey is influenced by the melodic wave which is prevalent in UK and American Hip Hop.

At Just 17 years old, he has been able to Amass over 9000 monthly listeners on Spotify, with his most popular track to date being ‘‘Adderall’.

Fans and music lovers alike will be glad to be able to indulge in his unique sound in the form of his anticipated E.P ‘Alienated’, coming out on the 5th February.

“I try to make all my songs have a different feeling and vibe. Some will make you think about your life, others are just for parties and some are just me trying to tell a story. I usually have an idea as soon as I listen to the beat and will follow through with that for the whole song, meaning if I don’t vibe with the beat in the first few seconds I’ll just move on”.

A prominent track from the EP to look out for is ”Lost You”. Although having the conventional melodic vibe beautifully synchronised with chill vocals, the beat takes a house-like, D&B type of cadence, which is almost guaranteed to get any music lover bopping their head and fill any room with a burst of energy.

As we wait for the release, expect for nothing less than this young artist to smash through his potential!
